About Randy and Reeni
Randy Rodes, Senior Leader
Randy pursued a career in music, playing bass trombone in the Boise Philharmonic for 21 years, as well as other venues such as big band jazz. However, in 1988, he had a life-changing encounter with the Holy Spirit, and became a deeply devoted follower of Jesus, and serious prayer intercessor. A few years later he began to feel God's call to full-time ministry, which began for him in the Church of the Nazarene. After serving on staff for a period of time, he planted his first church in Boise, called Living Hope. Later, as an independent church, it merged with Vineyard Boise, where Randy served on staff for one year before planting Vineyard Meridian in 2001.
In 2006, he took a team of people to Bethel, where he met Bill Johnson for the first time. This began a friendship that continues to this day. After years of prayer, and having been resourced out of Bethel for almost 10 years as part of the Bethel Leaders Network, Vineyard Meridian became reSURGE in January, 2016.
Randy has led numerous mission trips to churches across the Western United States, where he has also had the privilege of speaking. He has also taught conference workshops on Signs, Wonders and the Kingdom of Heaven, helping people learn to hear the voice of God and partner effectively with the Holy Spirit. He carries a deep desire for the Holy Spirit to move with power in our midst, bringing revival fire and awakening, and believes that every believer is called to proclaim the Good News, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons.
After his first wife passed away of cancer in pril of 2007, he married Reeni Fenholt in June of 2009. They both carry the fire of revival and are Co-Senior Leaders of reSURGE, as well as members of the Bethel Redding Leaders Network.
Reeni Fenholt-Rodes, Co-Senior Leader
Reeni, on fire for God, has served in ministry since 1985 and has appeared on television nationally and internationally, TBN and the 700 Club, and has hosted “Live” and taped radio programs. She has spoken at conferences in the United States and around the world in places such as Russia, South America, and South Africa.
She led Women’s Ministry at El Monte, California Foursquare Church and also served as president of Safe Passage for battered women in Los Angeles. Years prior she served as Youth Pastor in Ontario, California.
Upon Reeni’s arrival in Idaho, she was asked by the late Roland Buck’s daughter, Sharon, to appear on Sharon’s cable TV ministry program where Reeni was interviewed about the impact of Roland Buck on her life and her decision to move to Idaho. She is a passionate prophetic minister of Holy Spirit revival.
Reeni presently serves alongside her husband, Randy, at reSURGE Church in Meridian, Idaho and together, they bring revival with a big vision from the Lord. They are active members of BLN, the Bethel Redding Leaders Network.
